I am a new soul living in wonderful world, trying to discover more and more about this world. I have already gained my degree in China as Electronic Engineering. Five years ago, I tried to change my major from Education Technology and succeeded as you can see. It is tough to learn all the knowledge from a different major by myself. However, I am good at learning things new in a short period and also open minded to accept help from other people such as classmate and teacher. Communicating and leadership are all derived from my nature of outgoing and talkative. During the university, I led a team to work on a smart car and facial recognition program and made some innovation about that program. Now in the campus of Northeastern University, I am prepare myself as an software engineering who is in the intersection of software and hardware(as my bachelor degree ). In the future, I want to lead a team to design exciting products with innovation such as Tesla and Apple. Curiosity and Creativity drive me from Beijing to Boston and would keep encourage me to think different.

• Creating a LinkedIn clone page logging in with JSON Web Tokens, editing personal information, experience and education backgrounds
• Building a discussion board for user to delete thumbs up and leave comments of their posts
• Creating responsive front-end UI with React framework and using Redux for state management

• Designed User Interface (NetBeans) to manage Personal Information such as cell number, address, and Vaccine Information such as Vaccine-Type, Amount of Dose, and Vaccine-Date
• Assigned students to several teachers and several classrooms
• Developed email alerts for upcoming and overdue vaccine dose date and renewed immunization records with muti-thread method to make sure student could receive alert in any condition
• Designed entry interface with User Name and Password to protect Daycare data
• Established a graphical user interface for a user to transfer Art Painting style to a facial Photo with different kinds of algorithms
• Improved the multi-frequency gain analysis method in MATLAB to apply the style transfer method
• Proposed two new algorithms of style transfer gain and three transfer algorithms separately for oil painting, abstract painting, and pencil drawing styles, which were implemented in MATLAB to improve the beauty result
• Achieved multi-frequency gain transfer that can produce better facial style transfer effects than Prisma by highlighting oil painting texture and reducing background color interference
• Designed a graphical user interface in MATLAB to present the effect of style transfer obtained A of the project results exceeding other Photo Style-Transfer App such as Prisma
• Leading a three-person team to establish an Arduino car to follow objects and interacting camera and facial recognition system.
• Improved the vehicle-following algorithm in Keil, and compared the infrared and ultrasonic control algorithms.
• Transmit video signals through WIFI module to MATLAB and apply communication between hardware (Keil), then software (MATLAB) applied facial recognition algorithms.
• This project combined software (facial recognition system) and hardware (smart car) and won the innovation prize of Lab Open Fund.
